Queen Mary sailed on her maiden voyage on 27 May 1936 and completed 1001 Transatlantic crossings.

Hitler Put a bounty on the ship because it was fast enough to sink his UBoats and was transporting troops while painted Grey.

In December 1942, Queen Mary carried 16,082 American soldiers from New York to Great Britain a standing record for the most passengers ever transported on one vessel

The Queen came to Long Beach in 1967…Karel in 1976…
